Join us every Tuesday to create quilts for children in need! We give you all the tools and knowledge you need to make a beautiful quilt regardless of your skill level. Montgomery Bicycle Club’s Selma 55 bicycle ride will commemorate the 55th anniversary of the voters rights marches during the civil rights movement of the 1960’s.

The ride will begin at the Alabama State Capitol in Montgomery to Selma. They will be riding along the same route that marchers for voting rights used to get to the state capitol where Martin Luther King, Jr. argued for equal rights during segregation.

The route spans 51 miles and will take riders throughout various sites important to the civil rights movement, including Edmund Pettus Bridge.

Opening reception takes place March 19, 2020!

ArtsRevive is pleased to open registration for its 18th annual juried art competition. The show has grown significantly over the past several years in size and popularity, and most importantly, in the quality of the submissions. Alabama Artists: Roots and Wings is a reflection of that growth. Entry for 2020 is open to artists who are from Alabama although they may now live and work elsewhere (Wings) as well as those artists who currently live in Alabama (Roots).

Roots & Wings has built a reputation for its varied sampling of Alabama talent at its finest. The show will be held at ArtsRevive Carneal Building located at 3 Church Street in the heart of historic downtown Selma.
