Come join the National Park Service and Central Alabama Storytelling Guild for the Annual Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail Storytelling Festival.
Youth and adults are invited to attend the festival Wednesday, March 22, 2017 on the third floor of the Selma Interpretive Center at 2 Broad Street, Selma, AL and on Thursday, March 23 2017 at the Lowndes Interpretive Center located at 7002 U.S. Highway 80 W., White Hall, AL. The festival will honor the trailblazing women in labor and business with a primary focus on the women who were a part of the Voting Rights Movement or Civil Rights Movement.
The festival will be presented twice on each day at 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Seating will be limited and visitors are advised to arrive 30 minutes in advance. Groups of 5 or more are encouraged to make a reservation at least 1 week in advance with Courtney Sharpe at the Selma and Lowndes Interpretive Centers or .
