Virtual Forum-Barriers to Prosperity

Our office will partner with Alabama Possible – a statewide nonprofit organization that breaks down barriers to prosperity will host a virtual forum that will promote social connectedness and encourage a shared understanding of prosperity. The discussion is called, “Break It Down: A Statewide Virtual Discussion on Barriers to Prosperity.” This will be one of six discussions taking place across the state throughout the month of October.

During the experience, Alabama Possible will encourage members of the community to discuss the information included in the Barriers to Prosperity Data Sheet https://alabamapossible.org/programs/datasheet/ , examine the many ways poverty effects communities, and uncover opportunities for local action.
