Alabama Cottage Food Law – Start Your Home Base Business
The Alabama Cooperative Extension System is offering a Cottage Food Law Training and Certification workshop on September 27, 2016, at the Selma Public Library, Selma, AL. This law will allow anyone to prepare nonhazardous foods at their home and sell directly to consumers. Nonhazardous foods specified by the new law include cakes, cookies, dried herbs, jams and jellies. The training is from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. The cost for the training is $25.00.
