Vintage Vegas Casino Night

Once again it is time for Selma Charity League’s biggest annual event! This year we are bringing back the popular Casino Night with the formal theme of Vintage Vegas to be held on March 7th, 2020 at Arts Revive’s Carneal Building. The doors will open to the public at 7:30. The event will bring the glitz and glamour of Rat Pack era Vegas with lots of fun casino style games. We’ll also have music and dancing under the stars with the “Divines.” Beer and wine will be complimentary with tickets; unlimited liquor cups will be available
for purchase as well. We will also offer another chance to win big with a cash prize drawdown!
Tickets are required for entry and are available at the following levels:
*Single General Admission ($45) includes unlimited beer and wine and $250 funny money for Casino games
*Couples Tickets ($125) includes unlimited beer and wine, $250 funny money for Casino games for each person, and early entry to VIP hors d'oeuvre reception.

Mahoning Valley Sojourn of the Past, Youngstown, Ohio and the Selma and Dallas County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Information invites you to join us for the unveiling of the Civil Rights Memorial Mural located at 14 Broad Street, Saturday, March 14th at noon. Local artist, Sheila Ferrell has been commissioned by the Mahoning Valley Sojourn of the Past for this project which will memorialize those who played an integral role on March 7, 1965 and beyond.
We look forward to you joining us for this new attraction to our community and continue to keep history alive in our community!

Bird Walk for Beginners (& History Buffs)
Saturday, March 21, 2020 8am – 10am
Learn the basics of bird identification from an experienced birder on this easy two-hour walk through historic Old Cahawba Archaeological Park. Meet at the visitor’s center, rain or shine, and bring your binoculars and bird guide if you’ve got them. ($8)

Ward 4 Quarterly Meeting
