Arts Revive is sponsoring a photography contest that features the Cahaba River and the Alabama River in Dallas County and Selma. The theme is “Through My Eyes ....The Riverfront” We hope that some of you will be interested in entering. We want to show everyone what a beautiful community we have. All photos must have a view of the river, but may also include cityscapes, bridges or wildlife that are on the river. Guidelines are available at the Center for Commerce, Ceremics Department of Dallas Academy and the library. There is a category for both adults and students. All entries are due October 1st. Prizes will be awarded at Market Day on October 13.
