We, the Selma City Council Members are so excited to embark on our first ever Council Community Christmas Blanket Drive.  Our goal is to help 200 people in and around the Selma, Dallas County communities to have a warm, Merry Christmas.  With the community and businesses help by donating as the QUEEN CITY, we can help bring a shining light of hope to some people.  The questions of “How can”, or “How will”, The Christmas Holiday be MERRIER for some people can be eased by you joining The Selma City Council members with your generous donations.

If you would like to donate to this event, please bring a new unwrapped blanket to:

City Hall, Council Office – 2^nd Floor, 222 Broad Street, Selma, AL 3601

** THE LAST DATE FOR DONATIONS WILL BE DECEMBER 18, 2019 AT 3:00 P.M.

** BLANKET DISTRIBUTION WILL CORDINATED BY THE EDMUNDITE MISSIONS ON DECEMBER 20, 2019 FROM 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM IN THE COUNCIL CHAMERS.

     The SELMA REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (the Authority) will hold its regular meeting of

      the Board of Directors of the Authority on the THIRD THURSDAY of each month at 4:00 PM

      in the conference room of Trustmark Bank, 310 Broad Street, Selma, AL, 36701, for the

      purpose of transacting such business or taking such action as may come before the Board

       of Directors of the Authority.
