Blood Drive
From the Red Cross: Since December, about 300 blood drives across 27 states were cancelled due to severe winter weather, resulting in more than 10,500 blood and platelet donations going uncollected. This is in addition to a steep drop in donations during the holiday season. The blood shortage could delay treatment to patients in critical situations. There is an upcoming opportunity to donate blood at Meadowview Christian School, 1512 Old Orrville Rd., on Tuesday, January 31, from 9:00 until 2:00.
