Diabetes Support Group Meeting

The June Diabetes Support Group meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 24, 2019, at 9:30 a.m. to be held at the Dallas County Health Department, Selma, Alabama.

“Managing Diabetes through Meal Planning” will be the topic for this month’s meeting and will focus on the power that food and nutrition have in diabetes prevention and management. We will also share recipes and have a taste testing where we will sample diabetic friendly recipes.

The Public Safety Committee will have a committee meeting on Monday, June 24, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber to discuss Weed & Seed, Police & Fire Chief, National Night Out, and other public safety concerns.
